3DAcademy wraps up with “Spread the Word” sessions across partner countries

In the final weeks of 3DAcademy, partners ran a last round of national “Spread the Word” sessions to share project results with VET providers, educators, businesses, and local stakeholders.

Over September and October 2025, the 3DAcademy partnership delivered a final series of “Spread the Word” information sessions in the participating countries. These events were designed as practical, local meetings: a short overview of what the project delivered, a walkthrough of the 3DAcademy platform, and open discussion on how 3D technologies can be used in VET and training settings.

Across the sessions, the focus stayed concrete. Participants looked at how the platform can support teaching and self-paced learning, what schools and training centres should consider when choosing 3D equipment, and what typically goes wrong in early 3D printing work (and how to avoid it). Several events also included hands-on demonstrations and time for individual questions and networking.

Where the sessions took place:
Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina – 29 September 2025
Belgrade, Serbia – 10 October 2025
Sveta Nedelja, Croatia – 28 October 2025
Belgrade, Serbia – 30 October 2025
Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria – 30 October 2025

In total, 157 people joined this final round of outreach events. Thank you to everyone who took part, shared questions, and helped us test how these materials work in real learning environments. The platform and resources remain available for educators, learners, and organisations who want to build 3D skills into their training programmes.
